richardhatch passed away a couple days ago. He was apollo in the original battlestargalactica and had a lead role in the BSG return a few years ago. He was a great guy. I got to know him over the past couple years at various cons including Dragon Con and was really really lucky to get to stand behind him during the Colonial Fleet photoshoot where we goofed around and made all sorts of jokes in between photos.It was a shock to hear the news the other day and it took a while to really process it. He will be missed by all his fans and remembered not for the great acting but because he was a great guy who treated his fans, as friends.Rest in the stars, Apollo
